I am a do-it-yourselfer. I write how-to books on sustainable food & textiles as well as permaculture gardening. I also grind flour by hand, bake sourdough bread, cook food in a solar oven, and can food. I also spin yarn, design, weave and sew my own clothing and makes beaded items, among other things. I am also a social justice and environmental activist. I walk and bicycle everywhere in Flagstaff and rarely drive. My four books are about baking sourdough bread, sustainable canning, growing food in the Southwest Mountains, and solar cooking. My books are available from my website www.LisaRayner.com. My yarn, textiles, jewelry and mixed-media artwork is available at my Etsy store. Be sure to also visit my Links page for other great links.
